Passive Fire Protection (PFP) attempts to contain fire or slow the spread through use of fire-resistant walls, floors, ceilings & doors. PFP systems must comply with associated listing and compliances in order to provide effectiveness expected by building codes.
The Warwick Group can assist clients to ensure they are fully compliant with Building Regulations – Fire and Smoke (Compliance to Approved Document B of the Building Regulations), Air Sealing (Compliance to Part L2 of the Building Regulations), and Acoustic Control (Compliance to Approved Document E of the Building Regulations.
As part of our partition and ceiling work we are able to install cavity fire barriers, designed column encasements and offer all forms of penetration sealing methods by means of coated fire batts, collars and British gypsum compounds to walls and floors. By containing or creating fire compartments, we can stop fires from spreading. Our passive fire protection services are of high-quality and competitively-priced.
